What is Sculptra?

Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic material that has been used in medical applications for decades. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers that provide immediate volume, Sculptra works gradually by stimulating your body's own collagen production.

As we age, we lose collagen at a rate of about 1% per year after age 20. Sculptra helps replace this lost collagen, restoring facial volume from within and addressing the underlying causes of facial aging rather than just masking the symptoms.
